Hello everyone!
My name is Jan Danielsson,(nick JmD) from Sweden. I´m a newbe Savage-owner. Actually it's my first bike ever (haven´t even owned a car before, so you could say it's my first real vehicle, not counting a moped I had back in the 80:s).
Well I´m looking for CAD-files of the Savage, preferably in some 3D-format like STEP or IGES, but anything will do. Does anyone have any idea where I can get something like this? Is it worth the trouble asking Suzuki for such files?

Apart from the above, the only thing I really want right now is to get my replacement-dragpipe from Raask so I can go riding my steel-horse (-pony?). Believe it or not, springtime is actually here, even in Sweden.
I had a dragpipe from Raask until yesterday when I returned it because the Chrome had some holes in it, and I´m a bit afraid that rust would start eating its way into my pipe from that. So I returned it to Raask, and they'll be sending me a new one. Hopefully it'll be here before the weekend.

I hope you all have such lovely weather as we do right now - my good I really want that bike ready for a ride. But I´m not that desperate that I´ll re-mount the old muffler - it doesn´t sound good at all, and I don´t like the look of it.

Well, this was a long introduction of myself. I guess I´ll be posting something now and then.
Btw, the picture-gallery is really inspiring when it comes to getting ideas for re-building the Savage. Some really nice bikes there.

Happy riding
///JmD
